LYBW Ministries seeks to empower and encourage young black women in their daily walk with the Lord. It also seeks to prevent many of the devastating problems and negative issues that young black women face today. Many people think that young women are not tough enough to handle the whims of the world. The truth is, women, both young and old are as strong and as tough as they choose to be. This ministry, centered around the book, Letters to Young Black Women, shows young women the power and strength that God has placed within them to be the joyful, vibrant, and productive woman that God created them to be. Letters to Young Black Women in conjunction with LYBW Ministries gives women the tools that they need to prosper and succeed in this very fast-paced and wicked world.

Meriqua Whyte is the wife of Daniel Whyte III. They have been married for 20 years. She homeschools their seven children.

Daniella Whyte is the daughter of National Bestselling Author, Daniel Whyte III. She is the author of the book, The Thanksgiving That Almost Wasn’t, and she co-authored, with her dad and mom another book for young women. She also assists her father in the work of the ministry. Her next book is entitled 365 Days of Thanking God. She is also a college student, in a dual college-high school program. Her main mission in life is to tell everyone she can about the grace and love of God, and to help everyone she can be all they can be for God’s glory. Her favorite verse is Matthew 6:33.
