Sold
Out for God
"And he said unto them
all, If any man will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will
save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake,
the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the
whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?."

God wants to use each and every one of
us to make a difference in people's lives and to advance His Kingdom. In order to
do that, we must be willing to deny ourselves the things that we want to do and the
pleasures that we want to have, and take up the cross of sacrifice and giving, like
Jesus did when He died. There is a lot of blessings in doing things for God, but He
wants us to not only do things for him, He wants our hearts and minds and souls
to be sold out for Him. He wants to manifest His purpose in our lives, and He will
do it if we open our hearts to Him. So, before you start this day, put God in your
plans. Ask Him what He would have you do. Use your talents and gifts to help others
and to advance His Kingdom. If you do so, He will take you places that you never deemed
possible.

Sharing the
Gospel
"But if our Gospel be hid,
it is hid to them that are lost."

If you have been blessed to know Jesus
Christ as your Lord and Saviour, don't you think that other people would like to know
Him as well? Don't be ashamed of God and His Word. Don't be ashamed to tell other
people, even your unsaved family and friends, that Jesus makes the difference in your
life. Share His love and the free gift of salvation with them and with other people
you may meet in everyday life. The love of Jesus is not secret knowledge. It is open
for anyone and everyone, who will believe that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and
rose on the third day by the power of God. If we hide the Gospel, it is not hid to
other Christians, it is hid from those who are not saved. These unsaved people see
something special in you that they want, but don't have, and don't know how to get.
They see the peace, the love, and the joy of Jesus Christ that you received when you
let Him become Lord of your life, but they may never have that same peace, love, and
joy, if you and I don't take the time to show them how they can get it. So, wherever
you go today, share the Gospel with someone else, so that they can experience new
life and peace in Jesus Christ.

Prayer Makes
the Difference

Have you ever had a day when it seems
like everything is going wrong? First, you overslept; you burnt the toast; your hair
didn't fall into place; or you had a falling out with your girlfriend,etc. Could it
be that you failed to include God in your plans for that day? May I lovingly encourage
you to overcome any obstacle that may hinder you from praying as you should. I have
found that my days go much better when I meet with God first thing in the morning,
seeking His leadership and direction for that day. Once I pray, the Lord equips me
to overcome any obstacles that may try to hinder me from having a good day. Prayer
can be simple, but very powerful. It can and will make all of the difference in the
world.
